HI, we booked just for 1 night on 26th May as we have a house in Sarigerme. We only paid £10 all inc so we were a little worried but it was fine. The views are amazing, rooms and food basic, pools lovely, drinks normal all inc options, lots of bugs!, massages heaven!!We stayed for about 32 hours so really got our moneys worth!! if anything in particular you want to know i will be happy to answer...Tash

What do you mean by bugs? (what kind)?

Does the hotel provide towels for sunbathing, or would we need to take our own?

Well Sarigerme must be nice if you have a house there.

Thanks for the reply.

caria

having returned from turkey in the last week ,we found the caria was to geared for russians who tended to be very rude and pushing in must be a national pastime the staff were very friendly but because of lack of basic english was sometimes diffucult to communicate.
The FOOD well what can i say but if you like boiled eggs and BRUSSELL SPROUTS for breakfast Yes you read it right then go to the village
karaoke bar where you will get a reasonable english for about four pounds. The hotel often ran out of drinks which are limited to one local beer not very good but passable as it was ice cold the choice of three spirits vodka, brandy and gin so if you drink anything else you will pay through the nose.
The website the hotel is situated on the side of a hill in fact it is a mountain and it's half way up before you get to the reception.
Overall our stay was only made enjoyable by the company we were with. We would go to the same area again but NEVER at the caria.
I'm sorry to be so blunt but that is how we found and there was 19 of us good luck.

Our Visit to Caria - 20th Sept 08 - 27 Sept 08

Post by shellparkes22 on Thu Oct 02, 2008 4:07 pm

Hi
We stayed at the caria for one week in September, it is set on a steep hill, we had about 160 steps to our room.
The rooms are basic but clean which we were happy with.
We had a storm there on our first night & most of the rooms got flooded but no big problem!
The story about the russians being rude is true! the don't believe in queuing or manners - but don't let them spoil it for you.
We only managed to get to the village twice but we enjoyed what we seen - quiet but nice a really up & coming place.

We met some great people which made the holiday, oh yes also met Mick in the Sarigerme bar, it was nice to meet him & to see what he really looks like - A really nice bloke!!
