Hi John ,

Today I was in Costcutter supermarket , did purchased this and that , handed over my credit card , cashier told me I will be charged additional 50 pence if I pay with my credit card as it was under £5,00 ...

Same in Turkey , some places do charge you extra for using credid card (upto %1Cool as it will show up in their earnings, therefore they have to pay the tax man upto %18 ..However most places do not charge extra at all ..depends really ..

Cash Machine ? , aha , there whereyou need to be awake , your bank will charge you (up to %3 ) , Local Bank will charge you (upto %3) ,and you will be charged up to %2,5 curr. difference or something Sad(

hope this helps

regards
