Hi Micky.
Welcome to the forum, .
First about driving. It's so easy, because there's not much traffic to worry about, the roads can be a bit bumpy ,,and a few pot holes here and there, but no probs.
Places to visit, there's so many, were do you start. Dalyan, nice town good shops, bars ect, river boat trips to beach ,or thermal baths, rock tombs. About 25 mins by car.
There's so many more places to visit, so i'll let the other members tell you somemore.
Transport. The local buses are called dolmus, and they travel every where, and i mean every where.Very cheap, just a few lira gets you a long way .they run till about 12 each night.

MICK Very Happy sunny
