trips

Post by mick on Tue Feb 19, 2008 8:30 pm

Hi again Cath.
I think a good trip for you would be the 12 island's tour.
You go on a boat from Gocek.it's an all day tour
You have lunch & drinks in the price, omitting beer. The boat stops at a few islands here& there for swiming , snorkerling ect.A real nice day out. that,s if you like water .You will find out more at Sarigerme tours.

April Weather

Post by Gillian on Wed Feb 27, 2008 9:01 pm

We are coming to Turkey (Dalaman Gardens) for 1 week at the beginning of April. Can anyone tell me what the weather will be like. What type of clothing should we bring for daytime and evening. Will it be warm enough to swim in the sea?

Also, has anyone been to Dalaman Gardens? Have they finished some of the apartments? We are expecting a few wires etc to be hanging out the walls, but just wondering.

We are also returning at the end of June to the Holiday Village. Sounds good!

SINKOV - Where 2 Buy ?

Post by kedoo on Sun Mar 30, 2008 4:02 pm

Hi ,
you can buy Sinkov Mosquito Repelling stuff from any Shop/Market . They do sell it in Pharmacy's as well which one is going to be opened this may in Sarigerme . They should be around 3TL ( around £1.40 ).. The Market/Shop next to Sarigerme Bar & Restaurant, opposite to Sarigerme Tour does sells them also different brands too ..

hope this helps

Got up this morning and as they've promised we've got snow - about 3-4 inches. Can't beleive it was 18 degrees on Friday and I sat in garden for a bit. What's it like in Turkey this time of year?

BRR It's Cold

Post by Gillian on Sun Apr 06, 2008 7:09 pm

Just returned from Turkey today. We were there for a week. The weather was variable. Sunny, sunny, raining, overcast, sunny, hailstorm, sunny! Seriously there was a hailstorm while we were in Dalaman. Lasted around 15 minutes. And then by the evening it was clear again. When it was sunny it was lovely. Even when it was overcast I was in shorts and t-shirt.

Hi Emmanchris,

It really is lovely here now. Look at weather forecast on accuweather.com and put in Dalaman. It will show you the next 15 days. It's usually fairly accurate. (google accuweather.com)

temperature

Post by Kerry Liston on Thu Apr 17, 2008 10:03 pm

I'm watching the weather on my 'gadgets' (windows vista) it showed it was only 22 today but a couple of days ago it was 32! How acurate is that. I'm also watching my Chatham (where I live) and when it's pouring with rain in shows its sunny and visa versa!!

It has been a bit up and down with the weather this month, and I believe there has been as much as 10 degrees difference from one day to the next, but it should settle down very soon. I haven't seen accuweather forecasting sun when it's raining or vice versa, and although the last few days of the 15 day forecast can change as it gets nearer, I still think it's the most reliable site I have found.

whats happened - its warmer here than turkey

Post by Kerry Liston on Mon Apr 28, 2008 6:57 pm

Getting a bit concerned about the temperature out there at the moment, its warmer here. We are coming out on 23 May for 2 weeks, and booked Turkey so we could almost guarantee 14 days of sunshine (after only having 4 days in south France last year). Is it really as cold as its saying in accuweather? Is is likely to warm up? What are temperature usually like there at end of may?
