A few questions.
Hi i just joined.
Booked to go to the holiday village may 2010, a few questions about the holiday village.
Is there any difference between the two sides?
What is the beer like (is it watered down).
Is it difficult to get sunbeds?
What are the queues like for the food & drinks.
I have heard people like english money or eruos, is this the case?

hi all
We went to the Hv in 2007 and due to go back in oct 09.Anyway when i was last there the kids club was on until 9-10pm and certain times during the day.
As for the sun beds you will get some ,however you will find it diffficult if you don,t get there early,And no i do not mean you have to get up at 5am!!!There is pleanty of them and also plenty of pools.
As for the beer i can't say it was watered down'but it tasted fine to me.
You have done the right thing coming on here as there is loads of info on here.If you need any more info reply back.
cheers

Re: A few questions.
My family and I went there at the beginning of May this year and had a great time. The Beer is called Efes and is pretty good (they sell it in wetherspoons if you wanna try it). We had very few problems with sun beds as there were so many pools to use. I think the kids club was open most of the time, there always seemed to be something going on for them. We are hopefully going back the first week in September.
Make sure you go to the village and book any tours with Sarigerme Tours, take the Dolmus (mini bus) from the gate of the hotel it only costs 1 lira each instead of 10 for a taxi, try the Dalyan mud bath and turtle watching it's a great trip and the guide (Adnan) is a legend, First choice are a complete rip off for tours (even my daughter says so and she works for them lol) they will tell you the village companies don't have insurance, this is completely untrue as the turkish law demands they are insured.
Turkey is a beautiful country and Sarigerme (Osmaniye to give it it's real name) is a lovely little village where the locals will treat you wonderfully. I hope you have a fantastic time. If you need any more info drop me a line
)
Oh and make sure you go to the village and buy Mosquito repellant (Sinkov) you'll need it and it's way better than anything you can buy from home.
