A simple question regarding pharmacies
Could someone please give me an answer to the following question.
Last year me and my family went to a nice holiday in Tyrkey. (Side)
But unfortunately our bedroom were opposite a nightclub. So i did not get
much sleep..Unfortunately for me I am a very "light" sleeper, and I had forgot
to bring my sleeping pills (slumber pills) along on our trip to Tyrkey.
In the areoplane on the way home, the person who sat beside me, asked med why i
not did go to the pharmacy and buy some sleeping aid pills....
I did not know if he just thought it were possible. So therefore I would like if there were
anyone who could help me regarding this....
Is it correct that it is legal to buy sleeping pills (Just for my own use) on a pharmacy in Turkey ?
I do not know why, but i thought it were illigal to buy such things in Turkey.
Also my son suffer from allergy against, cats, dogs, chicken, horses etc. so therefore he could get an
attack of: Short of breath, and eyes that are itchy, and therefore need an inhalator
Maybe someone know something about what is legal to buy at the local pharmacy, and would be so kind to tell us??
If someone have an url to a online pharmacy in turkey maybe you could be so kind to write it in your answer - so can i write an email to the pharmacy.
Regards Walther.

Re: A simple question regarding pharmacies
hi,
I have insomnia and live over here, you can just walk into any pharmacy and ask, try unisom thats a good one to use while you are here (to help you actually get to sleep) and Insomin (is a stronger one designed more for actual Insomnia)they are both cheap too.
There is a pharmacy in the village now also , but im not sure if they sell inhalators, put they do sell items such as Piroton and there is a local one...cant think of the name it begins of Z but its cheaper than Piriton and if you use the pharmacy in the village, he speaks good English

Pharmacy
Thank you for your kind reply.
I am not sure i understand you correct.
Are there two kind of pills against insomnia ?
Perhaps you can tell me something else?
I also suffer from Epilepsy. And are therefore prescribed a medicine called Rivotril.
Rivotril is a special Benzodiazephine, and are in sone countries looked upon as a illigal drug.
As these pills are vital for me I have to bring them along, from home.
Do i have to fill out some papers ? or declare the pills to the costume when i land in the Airport ?
I would like to have "straight lines" - I do not dare being stopped in costum for something illigal.
And if the costume confiscate the pills - what do i do then ?
I can either coose to take the next plane home - or stay and take the risk in getting a attac... And unfortuneately i will
get an attac.... it is only a matter of time... it will take between 24 up to 36 hours then i will suffer an attack.
And i do not think i can buy the pills in Turkey... As mentioned they are called Rivotril, also sold under the name
Klonopin. The active ingridiens is Clonazepam.
Perhaps you can help me withe some answers - - - Or maybe someone else can help ???

Re: A simple question regarding pharmacies
Hello Walther ,
You will be not stopped for your medication..
Just for peace of mind get a letter or receipt from your pharmacist or your doctor ..
Some of your Questions you are asking should be answered by proffesionals rather then individuals..
I suggest you contact the pharmacist Mr Ibrahim Evgoturen on +0090 2522868192
or email him on fatmampharmacy@hotmail.com
regards
Nayir
