Akyaka near Mugla city

Post by ginkster on Tue Apr 08, 2008 9:23 am

Hi all

Changed our holiday plans AGAIN ( 3rd time this year) and we have booked to go to Akyaka which is close to Mugla City, (sorry Sarigerme fans), and it looks as if we will only be able to make a day trip to Sarigerme this year. Crying or Very sad Sad
I have had a look on the web and Akyaka looks like a (as yet) unspoilt Turkish seaside village/town that is popular with locals from Mugla city at weekends and holidays, the beach is a shallow bay and there is a river in the area also.
It would be great to hear any advice or story on this place.

Cheers Gink sunny sunny

Hi Gingster ,

I do not want to put you off of Akyaka ;
Akyaka is rather a very nice place , next to the Gokova Gulf , 45 minutes away from Marmaris , 45 minutes away from Mugla ..
However , Mick is totally right ..It is rather Boring Place ..Nice for a day or two ,or if you have to study several books in peace Smile
Don't get cross with me ..speaking my mind ..

regards
