Hello going october any tips or advice etc ?
Hello everyone this site is fantastic I am so glad I have found it. I am traveling to Sarigerme holiday village on 20th Oct for one week with my husband and two children 4 and 9. I just wondered if anyone knew what sort of clothes to bring shorts ? or is it a bit chilly now for things like that. Also any other tips or advice on what to bring what not to bring would be great. I am so excited. 18 more sleeps.

Hi there!
You and your family are going to love it! where are you staying? I was there last october for a week and stayed in Alinn Hotel. I loved Sarigerme so much i am going back for 2 weeks on the 17th Oct, staying back at Alinn Hotel again. The weather isnt chilly. Last october it was in mid 20-30 degrees. Today its (26 degrees over there) I would advise to wait and buy mosquito repellent spray when you are there, as its the best!! Its called 'Sin Kov' - i swear by it! hehe
You will get much more information, tips, handy hints etc and information on excursions that you and your family will enjoy on - http://www.sarigerme.net/
Enjoy your hols!

Re: Hello going october any tips or advice etc ?
Hi,
My family have just spent two weeks in the Holiday Village (2nd - 16th Oct). The weather was really nice, although we did have a couple of cloudy days. You will be fine with shorts and sleeveless tops, even when it is cloudy. You will not need long sleeves in the evenings either, but it may be a good idea to keep your arms covered to protect yourself from the mozzies.
As hotdiamondz says, buy some Sin Kov spray to keep them at bay and use it all the time, not just in the evenings. Get it in the village as it is only 4 Lira (7 Lira in the hotel shop !).
You don'y need to take any towels with you. Towels are provided for the beach/pool and the can be changed as often as you like at the towel hut.
If you are going on any trips, don't listen to the First Choice reps who tell you not to use the agencies in the village. We went on two trips with Sarigerme Tours and they were excellent, also much cheaper ! They don't stop at expensive shops for you to spend either. I recommend the Mudbaths and Turtle Beach trip. If you use them, say Hi to Adnan from the Riley Family !
Hope you have a great time and get back in touch if you want anymore info.
