Hi all - going 19 July 4 2 weeks - anybody else?
I would jusy like to say hi to all. Been reading all your reviews on the holiday village. They all sound tons better than the reviews on the watchdog review site. My name is Carol and going on hol to holiday village with my husband, 10 yr old son and in laws. No, the in laws are ok really. We are all from Cumbria. We all went to Turkey for the 1st ltime last year - best hol we ever had. Thought we would try a different part of Turkey. First time I've written anything on the site - just wondered if anyone going 19 July - our 10 yr old son would love to make loads of new friends - so would we!!! Getting into the holiday spirit already and enjoying a glass of wine!!!

Hi, nice to get a reply. I'm sure you'll love your 1st time in Turkey - we did that's why we are going back! My hubbie and me will try and join you in the nicotine rehab!!! Sounds a great place doesn't it? If the kids enjoy it so will we. Don't suppose you know which side of the complex you are on - I suppose you don't find out till you get there - the blue side sounds better than the other - but dont mind whatever - its 2 weeks of bliss!!

Is there plenty of shaded areas, especially round the pools? We are taking my in laws, quite elderly - is it fairly easy for them to walk around the complex. We've booked a junior suite - hoping it's a kids den - well our son is. Tour operator didn't know. Any ideas please.
Our son is really looking forward to all the activities, football, kayaking, climbing wall etc - do you know if you need to pre-book all or most of them just so we can be prepared as I think we are going at one of the busiest times of year. Sorry to bombard you with loads questions, just not been to as big a complex as this before. Any tips greatly appreciated.

Hi Carol, weare going to the holiday village on the 24th July for 2 weeks - that is me, my husband, our 8 year old son and my husband's 15 year old. We can't wait. Sounds like it is going to be pretty busy, but also sounds like there is plenty to do during the day for kids. As long sas my son has a football and somewhere to kick it he will be fine! We cant wait - I've been to Turkey loads, just love the place and the people.
Think it is going to be really hot by all accounts they are having a heatwave at the moment - so make sure you take plenty of sun cream for the in laws.

Hi, just been reading some of your replies. Be great to see if we actually get to meet for chat & drink. Know someone just got back Sunday -really hot hot hot!!!! Mozzies are a problem - heard mozzie bands are really good - have read on watchdog site you can buy at the airport - seen them in Asda, probably cheaper than airport - anyone used them before? Only just over 2 weeks to go, cant' wait!!! - son getting soooo excited can't wait to go and make loads of friends.
