Think we should wear pink shirts with fake moustaches so we can identify who we are........in fact on second thoughts that would look a bit too dodgy !!!!
Maybe something a little bit more low key....any suggestions ?
PS Lynne take it everything was ok ? Read a few not so good reports about not enough drink and poor quality a food ? Laughing Laughing Laughing

Don't believe everything you read. Some people are just too picky. You'll love it. It's the first holiday I've come back from and want to book again, I like to try different places.

The bar never ran dry although not a great selection of spirits, whiskey vodka gin ok can't remember seeing bacardi. The food was plentiful and tasty and lots of choice. Candy floss and pop corn for sale by the bar at night. There is a shop that sells crisp/pringles and chocolate.

we'll be easy to find - we have pics on the gallery on here so am trusting you'll introduce yourselves - after all you'll be well settled in byh the time we get there - greg too i think

failing that - we'll probably end up meeting through the kids (although mine are older no doubt you'll hear me shouting at them "Ashley, Sophie STOP ARGUING!"

Wish I was going back - not fair. Can i suggest that if any of you lucky people going in the future if you do want to meet up I would suggest you make definate arrangements beforehand (eg palace or tropical reception at a certain time) otherwise the chances of 'bumping' into each other are slim. There must be over 1000 people there! I was chatting to a few people before I went but never saw them to my knowledge.

it would just be fun to say hi dontcha think?

Hi everyone.....

I stumbled across this forum whilst researching HV and Sarigerme....So I thought I would drop in and say HELLO!!!! sunny

I'm going on the 30th June until 14th July...I fly from Doncaster airport at 7am!!! So a nice early start for me.... lol....

Originally I was going with my daughter and my friend and her son, but my mate is a little lax and has left getting her passport until 2 and a half weeks before we fly!!!! She has never had an adult or child passport before, which means it takes 6 weeks for it to go through the process, so this now means that I am going on my own with my daughter...little apprehensive about going on my own, as I have never been on holiday on my own before, am hoping that I meet some new people and am not stuck with my 8 year old for company for 2 weeks..however nice to spend the time with her, it might just drive me mad...lol..... yet the excitement is taking over now, and I'm on serious countdown now......lol...... cheers I am really looking forward to it.....

Well I hope to see some of you out there by the pool/bar....... Very Happy

well i'm sure we'll all be wearing wristbands anyway so a bit of ribbon on the same wrist isn't going to be too much trouble

Bonkers40,
I managed to keep the ribbon on for, maybe, 2 days before "accidentally" forgetting to put it back on again.
Must've failed to spot you anyhow - not really surprising --- its HUGE.

Hope you had a great time - we certainly did. Great service in the Hotel and in Osmaniye town. Sarigerme tours, Sarigerme Diving Centre, Apo for the Jeep safari, the Paradise steak house and restaurant and the Sarigerme Bar- cheers folks.

That'll be why we missed you - opposite sides !!

We were Blue 3033, and spent our Hotel days at either the Spa pool or Main pool (just around the Towel Hut on the Blue side).
Only crossed to the pools on the "Dark Side" on the Thursday before we left (and only for an hour then). Kids much preferred the pools on the Blue side, and we all felt the feeding arrangements were a touch better - possibly just what we were used to.

Oh, and we saw the Turkish night on the Friday before we left indoors at the Orange side. And yeah, I ended up on the stage !!

I was on the Orange side and found it much better i suppose people get used to where they land, the blue side felt a bit more busy.
