Re Aegean Flights
Thanks. Flights look good, and the bonus is they fly from Edinburgh. We are travelling from Glasgow Airport at the end of March but I much prefer Edinburgh Airport, which wasn't an option with the company we chose (Goldtrail Travel). At the moment I cannot comment about Goldtrail as this is the first time we have used them, however I know it is an Onur Air flight, again first time flying to Turkey so I don't know what they are like either. The biggest problem so far is that they informed us we will be landing in Bodrum and not Dalaman, which is a bit of a hassle with the early flight times and then a 3 hour coach transfer.

Re: AEGEAN FLIGHTS
Hi Gillian . I have also booked with Goldtrail for the first time ,leaving from glasgow in October. They use the same airline as aegean flights , they are called onurair, It was going to cost £269 for a flight only to Dalaman, But when I choose a package holliday from Goldtrail It is only costing £209 for flight, transfer and B&B hotel to Marmaris.I think we will just use the flight and transfer ( if we decide to go to Marmaris), and just book a realy good hotel in a quieter area. I also prefer the Edinburgh departure (its my home town) .
Good luck with getting thoose edinburgh flights when they come out with AEGEAN FLIGHTS, and remember to check with Goldtrail as it might work out cheaper getting a package holliday instead (just use their flights and transfers if you need them and tell the rep at the airport when you arrive what you intend to do).
All the best Ginkster.

flight
Hi Ginkster
Our flight was ok. No frills, but very comfortable and would definately fly Onurair again.
I have checked again and Goldtrail offer flights from Edinburgh from May through to October and are about £10 cheaper than the Glasgow flights. We have a package holiday booked for the summer but hopefully will be back in October for a week so will try the Edinburgh flight then. Flights varied from £169 - £199 but I think you are right about the package deal working out cheaper. Bizarre!
