Onur Air

Post  Bethshaw on Fri May 09, 2008 2:54 pm

We are travelling by Onur Air to Dalaman on 29th May. I am a bit worried about this airline and am tempted to ask if we can transfer to another flight. If anyone has flown with them, I would appreciate your comments.
Thanks, Beth

Thanks Carol. We can't change to a different airline as the travel company only use Onur Air, so it would mean cancellation charges of 90% of the total amount. We can't afford that, so it looks as if we are stuck with Onur Air! I just wish I had read the reviews before I booked. I am not bothered about the fact that there are no teles and no food on board - it's the safety that concerns me.

Thanks again,

Liz

At least Onur Air have removed the compulsory in flight meal!! Quite honestly it was better to do without! We're flying with them on Friday from Newcastle - it just means having a few drinks to deaden the pain!! Best of luck. Brian

I have flown loads of times with Onur air and honestly I prefer them to Thomas Cook! I think the planes are more roomy and cannot fault their service. Their duty free isnt very good on board but you can buy at dalaman airport when you land anyway. Don't worry, you will be fine!

Re:Onurair

Post  Gillian on Tue May 20, 2008 7:11 pm

We flew with Onurair in March and they were basic but very good value for money. The seats were a lot roomier than some. In flight service was good, staff were very pleasant and the toilets were clean. I suppose the only thing we really missed was entertainment, however we had a portable dvd player with us which helped pass the time.

Thanks Gillian. I am really not bothered about in-flight entertainment, so it should be fine. I suppose if you are taking kids, you need something to keep them occupied, but hubby and I will take our books and some sandwiches.

Only just over a week to go - can't wait!!! Very Happy
