Hi Paula,
Congratulations on your forthcoming wedding at the HV.

Maybe you could let us know how it all went as my niece wants to get married there next year. She is meeting up with us this year at the HV (10-24 July) to have a look at the place and get some details so any information you can provide would be very welcome.

Thanks
Rich

Hey, I have just got back from this hotel and what a fantastic place, anyone still to go out there I am very jealous......I have took lots of pictures of where you get married....so am going to figure out how to upload them onto this site and then you can see for yourselfs....Spoke to the reps about what happens and they said that you get treated like a princess for the day. The staff work very hard on a day to day basis, so I can imagine that they will go out of their way to make your day very very special. Where you get married, is away from the main pools and in a very quiet part of the complex...It is very beautiful. They put down a red carpet and have garlands up, there is a bar man to serve your guests drinks and the whole area is gorgeous.... I asked the reps what happens regarding reception etc and they said that you get sole use of the conference room, (same room that the welcome meeting is held in)

If you are getting married out here I really wouldnt worry as the complex itself is really nice, the staff are friendly and helpful and the reps really look after you.

Any questions, please ask and I will try to answer an questions you have....

Mich...

Hi

My brother was due to get married at the HV in September this year but then changed his mind as he was told that he would have to travel a good few hours to see someone in Turkey before he could get married, but as he has 3 children he thought this was too much for them to sit in a hot vehicle for minimum 5hrs, so he changed his wedding destination & he is getting married in Cuba & all the work is done before he even gets there so he won't have any running around to do.

Best of luck & I hope it all works out lovely for you both.

Hi all, I notice on here that you said that you have taken pics of the place where you get married? I wonder if you could let me know where i might be able to see these? We are getting married there in sept too and this would ease my (very panicky) mind. The comments have already done wonders to calm me down so thanks for taking the time to make those

Hi,

we fly out on the 28/8 from cardiff. we have asked to get married on either fri 5/9 or mon 8/9 as we have guests arriving for the second week only. How about you, when are you arriving, are you all organised? as its getting quite late now and i am so unorganised, i have taken to having more fascination with everyone elses wedding except mine!
Mich has already emailed me and offered to email me the pis so thanks but i have just sent her my email address. I tried to look on her profile but i am being a bit thick and couldnt manage it!
